Beskrivelse
[= kæbeben]. Et sted i Judas stammeområde nær grænserne til filistrenes land, overfor Etam, stedet for Samsons gerninger med kæbebenet af et æsel [Dom 15:9 ; Dom 15:14 ; Dom 15:19 ]. Det var en høj [Ramat-Lechi] med en rigelig, permanent vandkilde [Dom 15:18 -19]. I dag ligger landsbyen Beit Likiyya på samme sted, cirka 2 km fra Øvre Bet-Horon. Dog placerer andre dette sted et andet sted.

Ramath-lehi
elevation of Lehi, or the jawbone height; i.e., the Ramah of Lehi (Judg 15:15-17). The phrase "in the jaw," (Judg 15:19), Authorized Version, is in the margin, also in the Revised Version, "in Lehi." Here Samson slew a thousand Philistines with a jawbone.
