Tolad

Description

Eltolad = the southernmost city of Judah, allocated to the tribe of Simeon [Josh 15:30 ; Josh 19:4 ], approximately 20 km southeast of Beersheba. In 1Chr 4:29 , it is called Tolad, which led to the assumption that "el" is just a definite article as in Arabic, and thus the name means: birth, generation.
