Puutarhan alkuperäinen omistaja, joka lopulta päätyi Manassen, Juudan kuninkaan, käsiin. Manasse ja hänen poikansa Amon haudattiin tähän puutarhaan [2Kun 21:18 ; 2Kun 21:26 ; vrt. 2Aik 33:20 ]. Se oli todennäköisesti paikka Jerusalemissa tai sen läheisyydessä.

strength, a garden in which Manasseh and Amon were buried (2Kings 21:18; 21:26). It was probably near the king's palace in Jerusalem, or may have formed part of the palace grounds. Manasseh may probably have acquired it from some one of this name.
