하렛 또는 헤렛은 유다에 있는 숲이 우거진 지역으로, 다윗과 그의 가족이 예언자 갓의 지시에 따라 모압에서 피난처를 떠난 후 돌아온 곳입니다. 이 지역은 유다 남부의 블레셋 평원 경계 어딘가에 있었던 것으로 추정됩니다.

thicket, a wood in the mountains of Judah where David hid when pursued by Saul (1Sam 22:5). It was possibly while he was here that the memorable incident narrated in (2Sam 23:14-17; 1Chr 11:16-19) occurred. This place has not been identified, but perhaps it may be the modern Kharas, on the borders of the chain of mountains some 3 miles east of Keilah.
