Bāls-Hermons
Apraksts
Bāls-Hermons [Sog 3:3 ; 1Laik 5:23 ] parasti tiek uzskatīts par Hermona kalnu vai svētnīcu uz šī kalna. Ir zināms, ka šim kalnu masīvam ir trīs nosaukumi [5Moz 3:9 ], un Bāls-Hermons varētu būt ceturtais nosaukums, ko bieži izmantoja feniķieši, kas pielūdza Bālu. Kalns veidoja ziemeļrietumu robežu teritorijai, kas tika piešķirta pusei Manases cilts, austrumos no Jordānas.

Baal-hermon
lord of Hermon.
(1.) A city near Mount Hermon inhabited by the Ephraimites (1Chr 5:23). Probably identical with Baal-gad (Josh 11:17).
(2.) A mountain east of Lebanon (Judg 3:3). Probably it may be the same as Mount Hermon, or one of its three peaks.
