Efrat
Açıklama
Adı ya Beytüllahim'in kendisi ya da Beytüllahim'in bulunduğu bir bölgenin adıdır. Bu yerin bir adamına Efratlı denirdi (Rut 1:2 ; 1Sa 17:12 ). Birçok otorite, Rahel'in gömüldüğü Efrat'ın (Yar 35:16 ; Yar 48:7 ) farklı bir yer olduğunu, "aynı yer Beytüllahim'dir" sözlerinin bir ek olduğunu savunmaktadır.
