亚伯·米何拉 [= 跳舞的牧场，王上 4:12; 王上 19:16] 位于约旦河右岸的北部，靠近现今的斯基托波利斯，据推测是以利沙的出生地。根据 [士 7:22]，基甸追击逃跑的敌人到达这个地方。米拉的丈夫、扫罗的女儿亚得列也来自这里 [撒上 18:19]。

Abel-meholah
meadow of dancing, or the dancing-meadow, the birth-place and residence of the prophet Elisha, not far from Beth-shean (1Kings 4:12), in the tribe of Issachar, near where the Wady el-Maleh emerges into the valley of the Jordan, "the rich meadow-land which extends about 4 miles south of Beth-shean; moist and luxuriant." Here Elisha was found at his plough by Elijah on his return up the Jordan valley from Horeb (1Kings 19:16). It is now called 'Ain Helweh.
